Salary: £40,000 - £45,199

My client, a non-profit research institute in Plymouth, is looking for a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join their technical team on a permanent basis. They are dedicated to providing a dynamic and exciting working environment that rewards its employees. The work they do is extremely important to improving the environment and scientific research.
The role of the Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer will directly support the research undertaken in the business, including carrying out important project work to modernise their Linux computing systems both on-premise and cloud-based.

Experience needed:
- Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat)
- VMware and Kubernetes
- Network configuration and design - DNS/DHCP
- Linux integration with Windows Active Directory
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure would be advantageous
- Familiar with Dell hardware/software
