Proactive IT Services Engineer - Remote/On-site

Position: Proactive IT Services Engineer
Location: London (Home Based / Client site visits)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

A long-standing National IT Service Provider based in West London is currently expanding and is on the lookout for a Proactive IT Services Engineer to join their established team. This exciting opportunity is fully remote and client site based, so when you are not visiting customers, you will be working from your home.
They are seeking an engineer who comes from a hands-on background, now looking for a more hands-off role. Ultimately, your key responsibility will be to sit down with clients, review their IT Infrastructure and setup, and recommend any improvements that can be made to stop problems or issues in their tracks before they arise. The end-goal is to reduce the number of tickets coming to the service desk from each client through your problem identification and solution implementation.

What this Position Will Entail:
* Working remotely or visiting client sites to perform proactive support services
* Carrying out best practice checks, alignment reviews, preparing reports for management
* Remediating work from the alignment review and ticket trends analysis
* Discussing business technology needs and available options and solutions
* Occasionally taking part in Projects

Key Skills:
* Windows Server 2016-2019 / Active Directory
* Windows 10-11
* Office 365 (inc. Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
* Hyper-V / VMware
* MS Azure
* Networking (Cisco/SonicWALL)
* Excellent customer service skills
