IT Helpdesk Support - Castle Donington - £22K DOE
Role: IT Helpdesk Support
Location: Castle Donington, Derby
Salary: £22K DOE
I am looking for a focused and driven IT Professional to join a growing business in Castle Donnington on a permanent basis. This is a busy working environment, as the business is made up of 300+ sites across the UK, and you will be the first point of contact for all IT issues and queries raised across the business.
As the helpdesk analyst for this company, you will take full ownership of any issues that are raised with you allowing you to use your own initiative to achieve results. If issues cannot be fixed by you, you will be required to escalate these to the service desk if necessary or liaise with external 3rd party support companies. You will investigate issues involving PCs, laptops, thin client and telephony systems and will be provided with the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and projects, working your way up within the company if you so wish.

Role Requirements:
** Act as the 1st point of call for all issues raised across the business - communication and customer service is key!
** Work coherently and cohesively in a team of 4 to ensure the smooth running of the helpdesk
** Get stuck in from day one - the more you put in the more you get back
** Partner up with senior engineers to shadow them, broaden your technical knowledge and learn new skills
** Get involved with ongoing projects across the business
