Role: Senior IT Support Engineer
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)
Salary: £42K DOE
An established business in Cardiff are looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. This business requires a confident individual to provide technical support to their loyal customer base, who are located throughout the Cardiff area. You will be welcomed into their close-knit team from day one and will provide you with the opportunity to work remotely on the helpdesk, as well as onsite and leading projects across the businesses when needed. You may also be tasked with mentoring the junior engineers and helping them to grow within their technical knowledge too.

Role Responsibilities:
** Provide a high level of 3rd line support
** Respond to issues logged via the helpdesk in a timely and efficient manner
** Leading large-scale projects
** Travelling out to the site to provide proactive and reactive IT Support
** Mentor junior engineers in their technical knowledge and abilities
** Design and Support of Server Infrastructure
** Possess a drive to always develop yourself and your technical knowledge
** Keep up to date with the latest / future advancements in technologies
Technical Skills from you:
** Windows Server and Windows 10

** VMWare, Hyper-V
** Networking / Firewalls
** Datto Backups
** Antivirus Solutions
** Hardware Installs & Maintenance
Ideally, you will be from an MSP / IT Solutions background and have experience providing remote and onsite support to multiple businesses at one time. This job will suit technically strong rd third line engineers who are feeling stagnant and aren't getting the most out of their capabilities.
