Role: 1st Line IT Support Technician

My client based in Bolton who have a feature rich EPOS ecosystem are looking for a 1st line IT Support Technician to join their in-house team of technicians on a permanent basis. Here you will be providing technical help and assisting the electronic point of sales system to customers both new and existing. Full training of the software solutions will be provided with the role.

** Assisting in the efficient and effective running of the IT Support Desk, being mainly responsible for the provision of the 1st line support.
** Analyse 1st line faults, identify problems, research query answers and guide individuals through the correct steps.
** Fault finding and adapting work plans to accommodate changing demands.
** Working to SLA targets set by the company.
** Required to work as a member of the Support Team whilst communicating with a variation of customers difficult technical faults.
** Provide technical support during out of hours, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
** Installing/Re-configuring software
** Building/Configuring Hardware
** Documenting actions - completing forms, reports, and records
** Time management
** Working to SLA targets
** Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server)
** Microsoft Office - Office 365
** MS SQL - General knowledge
** Call Logging Systems
