Role: Telecoms Helpdesk Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £33K DOE + Company Car
One of my best clients is looking to add a Telecoms Support Desk Engineer to an already thriving team based in Birmingham on a full-time basis. The successful applicant must have experience working on a support desk and have knowledge of PBX, VoIP, Cloud Voice, connectivity, and networking.

Role Responsibilities:
** Supporting clients on a variety of Hosted & Fixed telephone systems throughout the UK.
** Daily interaction with customers, so excellent communication skills and a professional approach are vital.
** Enhance customers' experience by always exceeding their expectations and by fulfilling our best practices.
** Ability to use initiative to problem solve in a calm and logical way.
** Ability to carry out initial diagnostics for resolution on a network or Telephony scenario.
** Ambition to evaluate a customer scenario/ problem and provide a resolution or escalate to 3rd line support.
** Great customer service skills.
** Knowledge & experience programming telephone systems.
** Hosted VoIP and SIP telephony understanding.
** Knowledge of Mobile applications and PC/Server software installation.
** Knowledge of IP networks.
** Previous experience remotely supporting and programming for clients using remote access utilities.
