Job description
I am looking for a confident and driven Senior IT Support Professional to join a successful business in Nottingham on a contract basis. As an infrastructure & Systems Administrator you will be involved in the support and maintenance of all Network & Infrastructure technologies, as well as implementing and delivering IT Projects across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is confident in their technical abilities and comfortable communicating with 3rd parties and providing guidance to users. The possibilities and reach within this position are endless and will see you working closely alongside wider teams such as Cyber Security and Application Support. Knowledge of Cisco Networking is essential.
Role Requirements:
** Support, maintain and manage the business' infrastructure and networks
** Manage and maintain the physical and virtual platforms, both on prem and in the cloud
** Respond to issues logged on the service desk, ensuring these are resolved to completion within a timely manner
** Deploy system upgrades and software patches
** Lead IT Projects across the business, ensuring the successful delivery and function of all new systems and applications
** Provide guidance and support to junior engineers within the team
** Ensure documentation is completed and up to date
** Provide reports and projections on the systems and infrastructure
