Senior IT Technician - Education Sector
Role: Senior IT Technician
Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £27.5K
My client is a growing Trust within the Education sector, looking to add a Senior IT Support Technician to their friendly team on a permanent basis. You will be a big part of their future expansion plans and will be involved with supporting multiple sites across the local area, helping to deliver expert levels of software and hardware support to thousands of users. Initially, you will be providing support to 2 schools, both kitted out with brand new networks, with the opportunity to travel further afield between sites moving forward. As this is a Senior position you will work closely with the IT Manager and Director to ensure the smooth running of all IT and Infrastructure across the group.
Role Requirements:
** Hardware and Software Installation, Upgrades and Maintenance
** Lead projects across sites
** Monitor and manage all reported issues
** Provide recommendations for additional / improved IT systems
** Onsite Point of contact for all Support issues
Skills from you:
** Windows Server and Windows 10
** Office 365, Exchange
** Active Directory, Group Policy
** Networking
** Backup Solutions
** Antivirus Solutions
** Hardware Support and Maintenance
It is also extremely advantageous if you have previous experience working within the education sector and hold any technical qualifications.
