Senior IT NOC Engineer - London (Central) - £55K
Position: Senior Network Operations Center Engineer
Location: SOHO, London
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Excellent Benefits
An award-winning security and fraud prevention organisation are looking for a Senior NOC Engineer to come and join their growing team out of their offices in Central London. My client work with over 1,500 companies across the UK, with vendors such Microsoft, AWS and Cisco providing you with the opportunity to work with the latest technologies!
As their Senior NOC Engineer, you will act as a SME and team leader, with your day-to-day roles including management of the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and security processes for all mission critical systems. You will have plenty of opportunity to lead projects to introduce new technologies into the company, as well as making suggestions on existing technology.
What this Position Will Entail
- Participating in the development and introduction of new and advanced technologies
- Introducing and upgrading projects
- Planning and maintaining network changes
- Acting as technical escalation for network and hardware incidents
- Coaching and mentoring other staff members and designing/conducting training plans for Junior Network Engineers
Key Skills:
- Windows Server 2016 / 2019
- Routers, Switches and Firewalls
- LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
- AWS
- VMware / Hyper-V
- Linux
- CCNA, CCNP, Network+ Certifications or IT related Degree (beneficial)
