PRINCIPAL NETWORK ENGINEER - 3+ MONTH CONTRACT - £250-£400/DAY
I have a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Network Engineer contractor who is looking to take on a new challenge working with a very prestigious UK institution.
Let me tell you a bit about the role. It's a Principal Network Engineer position, inside IR35, Based in Coventry.
This is an initial 3-month contract with great room for extension after the initial period for the right candidate, as the project you will be working on is estimated to take 18 months.
They are looking for someone with strong experience in the following areas:
- Strong Networking experience
- Cisco switches and routers
- Security and firewalls
- CCNP (certification or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work flexibly - either on call, or for extended hours by agreement to meet deadlines
Additional desirable experience:
- Cisco ASA security knowledge
- Experience in Cisco wireless LAN tech
- Cisco wireless LAN tech knowledge
- Azure
- AWS
- Previous experience in the education sector is a bonus
