Job description

Role: PHP Developer
Location: Hybrid - Oxford
Salary: £60,000 DOE

One of my favourite clients is looking for a PHP Developer to join their team on permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a market leading sporting distribution company. They design and build bespoke components for competing racing teams in a range of areas such as Motocross, Extreme Downhill Biking, Olympic cyclists, Triathletes and Snow Sports People. These bespoke components are made from materials such as Carbon Fibre, Titanium, and other high-end textiles. After having such success in all these areas, they now fund their own racing teams and have ambassadors of the highest calibre.

Their e-commerce site has over a million users per year, and you play an incremental part of the construction of such sites. You will get the opportunity to develop your skills in modern technologies such as Magento 2, Laravel, PHP and the list goes on.

You will need to be a self-motivated individual who works well in a team and is willing to contribute towards an end goal! A proven ability to work to deadlines in a group or alone and remain composed under pressure. Good English written and oral communication skills are also beneficial.

This is a great opportunity for a developer to join an expanding company at an exciting period of growth, where you will work alongside a team of skilful developers that can give you the opportunity to learn modern technical skills such as Magento 2, Laravel etc!

Requirements for the position are:

  • Commercial experience in PHP
  • Laravel, Magento 2 and Shopify experience is also beneficial
  • Willingness to learn and develop your skills!

Benefits

  • The position will offer a competitive salary package, plus bonus potential
  • 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
  • Company Pension and Healthcare
  • Paid for training and certifications
  • Hybrid working model
