Role: Junior Infrastructure Engineer
Salary: £23K DOE
Location: Solihull, Birmingham
One of my best clients based in, Solihull Birmingham, is looking to add a junior infrastructure engineer to their already vibrant team on a full-time basis. This role will see the right candidate learn the ropes of an infrastructure engineer and grow rapidly throughout the business to seniority level.
Infrastructure you will be exposed to:
** Windows Server
** Windows 10
** Office 365 / Exchange
** Active Directory / Group Policy
** Azure
** VMWare / Hyper-V
** Backup Technologies - Veeam / Datto / Arcserve
** Routers / Switches / Firewalls / TCP/IP / VLAN
** LAN/WAN Hardware
** SAN Storage
** Antivirus Technologies
Role Responsibilities:
** Support the Infrastructure and Networks across the Matlock and UK wide sites
** Support all hardware and software issues onsite for Matlock users
** Resolve 1st line infrastructure and support queries via the service desk
** Provide application support for inhouse and cloud applications
** Keep up to date with trends and documentation
** Always provide a professional yet friendly service
** Be proactive and able to show initiative
