IT Support Engineer - London (Central) - £45K
Position: IT Support Engineer
Location: London (Central)
Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
A long-standing, nationally recognised Investment Company has an exciting new opening for an IT Support Engineer to join their established team. They need someone to help support their internal user base and IT systems. You will be the initial point of contact in helping to resolve all technical issues both remotely and desk side. Alongside these duties, you will also be involved in some project tasks when there are requirements for new rollouts, upgrade, or migration work. This role can be undertaken on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
What this Position will Entail:
- Deskside and Help Desk support
- Working alongside members of the IT Team to troubleshoot and resolve any IT issues via email, phone, or ticketing system
- Supporting a small sized user base
- Upgrading and maintaining the company's infrastructure/systems
- Assisting on project tasks
Knowledge and Skills Required for the Position:
- Windows Server 2019
- Office 365 (inc. apps - SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Active Directory / Group Policy
- VMWare / Hyper V
- Azure
- Networking Knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Citrix (desirable)
