IT Support Engineer
Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Dewsbury, England
Salary: £27K DOE
I am looking for an IT Support Professional to join a thriving business in Dewsbury on a permanent basis. In this position you will provide hands on IT Support to 400+ users based across 56 sites - dealing with issues raised via the service desk remotely as well as with hands on deskside support.
You will also get involved in projects of all sizes, assisting the 3rd party suppliers!
You will report directly to the IT Manager and will also be mentoring a junior engineer, assisting him with more complex IT issues. You will therefore be a methodical and analytical thinker, with an ability to work efficiently and prioritise a variety of different issues - as well as having excellent communication skills to liaise with users and 3rd party suppliers.

Role Responsibilities:
** Provide IT Support across 1st and 2nd Line
** Monitor and support all software, hardware and infrastructure across the business
** Mentor junior engineers and aid them with more complex IT Issues
** Carry out projects across the business e.g. desktop rollouts
** Carry out IT Audits and documentation
** Create reports and projections to advise on recommendations / upgrades within IT
** Liaise with vendors and 3rd party suppliers
** Follow direction from the IT Manager but more regularly operate autonomously with your own initiative and expertise
