Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham
Salary: £50K DOE
I am looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing business near Kirkby in Ashfield on a permanent basis. This is a very exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual who is wanting to take the next step in their career and push their own knowledge and this successful business forward!
You will enjoy a varied environment where no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for 3rd line support and resolving the more complex IT and infrastructure issues, as well as leading projects across the business and providing guidance to employees as well as junior engineers.

Role Responsibilities
** Provide a high level of 3rd line support for all IT and Infrastructure issues logged through the business
** Act as an escalation point for the more junior engineers, dealing with the most complex of issues to completion / escalation to a 3rd party if needed
** Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
** Lead and work on largescale projects across the business - with the opportunity to travel abroad too if you wish!
** Design, implement and maintain a variety of IT Systems including VMWare, Veeam, Azure, Intune, Windows Server etc
** Provide guidance on disaster recovery and business continuity plans
** Possess a drive to always develop yourself and your technical knowledge
** Keep up to date with latest / future advancements in technologies

** Windows Server and Windows 10
** Active Directory, Azure, Group Policy
** Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams
** Intune
** VMWare, Hyper-V, Veeam
** SCCM
** Network configuration and installations
** LAN/WAN, VPN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls
** Disaster recovery & Business Continuity
