Role: Infrastructure and Support Analyst
Location: Leyland
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

One of my clients based in Leyland, are on the hunt for a Infrastructure and Support Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be part of a modern, forward-thinking company who pride themselves on investing in their staff and progressing people through the company.


Purpose of the role is to be responsible for supporting and developing enterprise wide systems. The goal of the department is to effectively design stable and secure IT systems.
We are looking for an individual that is self-motivated, well presented and feels passionate about their career in IT.

Purpose of the Role


* As part of a team, provide 1st line support to end users relating to computer hardware/software.
* Testing and implementation of new/upgraded user facing technology across site.
* Documentation of local IT processes/procedures in line with corporate policies.
* Management and support (HW/SW) of Windows Server/SAN infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with global policies, maintaining HW/SW to approved versions.
* Work with internal customers and external suppliers to facilitate introduction of HW/SW ensuring alignment with company standards.
* Manage upgrades to local systems in alignment with business / IT projects.

Skills


* Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology
* Knowledge of ITIL Service Management Framework
* Knowledge of Systems Automation Technologies
* Knowledge of SQL Databases
* Knowledge of Windows PowerShell
* Knowledge of SCCM
