My client is a leading force in the risk, insurance, and technology business who are revolutionising the way their clients manage both risk and insurance information. They are currently seeking a Data Scientist / Data Engineer to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will be supporting several externally facing technical solutions within both the Claims Administration and Risk Management sector. They will be responsible for the ongoing development of my client's analytics platform for use in data analytics initiatives and data analysis for Integrated Risk Management technology implementations.

DATA ENGINEER

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish architect solutions and data whilst working closely with data scientists and analytics developers
  • Construct data sets that align with both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to ensure compliance with global data privacy standards.
  • Work within agile project management frameworks
  • Work in cross functional teams with internal and external customers to deliver technical solutions

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or quantitative field or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years' experience with Relational Databases and Data Integration
  • 1+ year utilizing Data Science tools for data engineering

DATA SCIENTIST

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify inefficient processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to implement multiple advanced analytics projects
  • Analyze and model data using statistical and analytical tools
  • Contribute to the development of analytics solutions utilizing pertinent data science programming knowledge
  • Proven ability to drive technical projects from initial concept to implementation with minimal oversight

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • 3+ years' experience with Data Science Programming
  • 3+ years' experience with Data Science & Predictive Modeling
  • 1+ years' experience with Relational Databases and Data Integration (SQL, Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Mapping, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field.
