My client is seeking a talented individual to join their team as Data Platform Engineer. The role is fully remote and offers an opportunity to work for a company whose goal is to help people realise and achieve their full potential in their careers. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the end-to-end journey of data; from the data source to visualisation tool where they will seek to tell a story with the data. In this role you will spend most of your time working in between the space between the source and the user accessing reports. For this database administration, is just one of the essential requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- BSc in a STEM field
- Strong database administration experience
- Working knowledge of the end-to-end data lifecycle (database to visualisation)
- Highly skilled in reporting tools - Power BI, SSRS
- Highly proficient in ETL processes - SSIS, Azure Data Factory
- OLAP Structures experience
Highly desirable:
- Knowledge/experience in Python
