Role: Data Engineer
Location: Birmingham (Flexible Working)
Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 DOE

My client is looking for a powerhouse of a Data Engineer who will be integral to the build of my clients ambitious and progressive analytics and AI platform. The company's office is based in Birmingham, but the role offers full remote working.
As a key member of the Data Engineering team, you will be expressing your creativity by writing code to power the analytics platform, researching new technologies and techniques, running experiments and proof of concepts to keep the company at the forefront of modern application & analytics development
Ideal candidate:
- Excellent knowledge of AWS services or Microsoft Azure
- Excellent knowledge of SQL language and relational database technologies
- Excellent knowledge of ETL/ELT and data ingestion pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Python
- Experience of no-SQL database technologies
- Experience in designing and architecting solutions and data models
- Experience evaluating how different technologies and frameworks can be used in order to deliver the best possible solutions
