Data Analyst - South Oxford - £40K DOE

Position(s): Data Analyst/Senior Data Analyst
Location: South of Oxford
Salary: £30K - £40K DOE
Sponsorship: Cannot be provided

My client is one of the country's leading organsiations in Experimental Medical Solutions. They specialise in harnessing the latest in Data Analytics to produce innovative study designs that further the R&D of many clinical trials. Due to rapid internal expansion (doubling in size since 2020) they are now seeking Data Analysts/Senior Data Analysts to join their team immediately.

Data Analyst - £30K DOE (Hybrid Working)

Role Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Preparation of study datasets for statistical analysis
  • Performing statistical analysis on healthcare/clinical data and data validation checks
  • Handling and maintenance of data management trackers and data reports

Role Requirements

  • Graduate with Life Science, Computer Science, or equivalent degree
  • Advanced IT skills with MS office suite including Excel
  • Prior experience of conducting statistical analyses within an academic or clinical study
  • Setting using specialised statistical software e.g. MATLAB, SPSS etc.


Senior Data Analyst - £40K DOE (Remote Working)

Role Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Develop study user requirement specifications, requirement traceability matrices and test cases for our digital solutions based on clinical study protocols
  • Manage data management and statistical analysis services ensuring high quality and completeness of data through collection, processing, querying, and report generation in accordance with data management plans, data transfer specifications and statistical analysis plans.
  • Assume line management responsibilities within the Data Management team,

Role Requirements

  • Graduate with a Computational Science, IT or equivalent degree
  • Experience (minimum 2 years) of clinical trials, preferably in clinical data management
  • Background in mentoring junior support staff
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience of GCP, providing digital solution services for clinical trials
