Role: 3rd Line / Operations Engineer
Location: Midlands
Salary: £45K DOE
One of my best MPS clients based in the Education sector is looking to add a hands-on Technical Manager to the team on a full-time basis based anywhere in the midlands. This role will see the right person assist the service delivery team to improve existing services, facilitate continual service improvement and introduce new technologies to meet the client's needs.
Role Responsibilities:
** Supporting 3rd line technicians on their day-to-day responsibilities
** Provide project management and technical support to major projects
** Developing and delivering training to the support team
** Developing agreed solutions and implementing new systems
** Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their working practices and the nature of their business
** Management of critical customer incidents associated customer communication activities and any appropriate escalations and to provide incident and root cause analysis information from subsequent post-mortem examination.
