Position: 3rd Line IT Support Engineer
Location: Bury St. Edmunds
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Paid for Certifications

My client are leaders in linerless labelling and x-ray inspection systems. Their machinary is mostly supplied to the food labelling and packaging sector, they are now looking for a technical support engineer to join their team.

You should have good customer service skills, be able to answer the phone in an excellent manner, have strong troubleshooting skills for Windows desktop operating systems as well as Office 365.

My client look after clients all over the world and you would be supporting their IT field engineers from their office in Bury St.Edmunds.

You will need to be outgoing, willing to assist as much as possible, and be a team player.

Key Skills:
* Advanced Windows use
* Remote access skills: VPN/VNC/RDP/Anydesk
* Networking knowledge - setting configuring IP addresses etc.
* Troubleshooting fault finding
* Maintaining documents and creating new documents where applicable.

Desirable:
* Scripting knowledge, batch files/powershell.
* Wiring/electronics knowledge
* PLC knowledge
* Maintaining documents and creating new documents where applicable.
